C/AL vs AL – Spot the Differences
In this webinar, we will discuss the differences and similarities between C/AL in C/Side and AL in Visual Studio Code. In 60 minutes, we will cover the fundamental Design Patterns such as Singleton, Master Data, Number Series, Address Integration, Journals and Documents. We will compare how these are created in C/Side to Visual Studio Code. We will also do a little refactoring exercise. Let’s compare refactoring the Journal Post Line codeunit both in C/Side and Visual Studio Code and see which editor is faster. We will use the AL Formatter and the AL Linter Extensions to do this.
