C-SIDE Development 101 Series – #1 – Kick off

Everything seems to be about extensions these days. We tend to forget that roughly 150.000 companies use NAV on C/SIDE, and will continue doing so for many years. We, as developers, will still be involved in the 'care and feeding' of these systems. Based on the book 'Programming Microsoft Dynamics NAV 2017', this series of 12, monthly webinars will explain NAV development on C/SIDE from scratch. These sessions are not just for newbies, but also for experienced NAV developers in need of a refresh. If you really want to challenge your skills, we encourage you to pick up a copy of the book and, in conjunction with the webinars, work out the scenario exercises from the book. Send an email to info@nav-skills.com to get a code to order the book at a discount from https://www.packtpub.com/. There are versions of the book going back to NAV 5.0. C/SIDE Development 101 #1 – Kick-off As the first writer of 'Programming Microsoft Dynamics NAV', an independent book on how to program Dynamics NAV, we couldn't start this series without David Studebaker. We are very pleased and honored to have him as our first presenter for this series. In this kick-off of the C/SIDE Development 101 Series, David will introduce NAV from both a functional and technical perspective.
