PowerShell 101 by Waldo

PowerShell has been part of the Dynamics NAV stack for a few years now, yet the adoption seems to be a bit black and white. Whereas part of the community embraced it, many of us don’t feel comfortable going beyond Sync-NavTenant and Split-NAVApplicationObjectFile. In this session, Waldo will explain how to do more with PowerShell like creating variables and other basic syntax understanding. PowerShell is object oriented but the piping makes the syntax hard to read when you don’t know to read from right to left. What libraries are shipped with Dynamics NAV and how can you combine them with SQL and windows libraries.? Lastly, Waldo will show the tooling he created and shares with the community, how to install them and troubleshoot error messages.
